We have written alerts to our members on this topic and made phone calls to House and Senate members; Dorothy Height/Whitney Young Social Work Reinvestment Act (S 2858). HR 6893, the Fostering Connections to Success and Increasing Adoptions Act (HR 6893). This legislation targets specific deficiencies in the child welfare system by extending federal foster case payments up to 21 years old, providing federal support for relatives caring for children in foster care.
