H.R. 748, CARES Act - Final agreement between Republicans and Democrats on a third stimulus bill. Provides $14 billion for higher education, student loan borrower relief, and flexibility for institutions.
H.R. 133, The Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) - House and Senate compromise bill that included $22.7 billion in pandemic-related aid for higher education and $73.5 billion in FY 21 discretionary funding for the Department of Education.
H.R. 1319 - American Rescue Plan Act - House and Senate budget reconciliation bill that contained $1.9 trillion in pandemic-related aid. The measure includes $39.6 billion to support institutions of higher education.
American Jobs Plan - $2 trillion White House proposal aimed at job creation and infrastructure improvement. Contains $12 billion in funding for community college infrastructure, $100 billion for broadband improvement and $100 billion for workforce development.
