Support for extending the Federal investment tax credit, sections 48 and 25D of the tax code, for a period of years and at the highest percentage possible to help build jobs, and address climate change, eg, Green Act of 2020 HR 7330, "Build Back Better" Act(s) then the "Inflation Reduction Act of 2022". Support for parity in solar tax policy, meaning 25D 10% permanency like section 48. Support for a refundable or direct pay option, for business and residential credits. Support for DOE solar program as it relates to small solar businesses and distributed generation as well as any potential workforce development opportunities. Support for USDA Renewable Energy for America Program known as REAP, from HR 2 Agriculture Improvement Act and for additional REAP investments in "Build Back Better" etc. Concerns expressed and other solutions offered, such as domestic manufacturing tax credits for solar and other technologies (various bills from Sen. Warnock, Ossoff "Solar Energy Manufacturing for America Act of 2022, S. 3091) regarding Dept. of Commerce auxin circumvention petition as it could decimate Amicus members, and the small "distributed generation" solar business industry this year writ large.
