- S.2658 "FAA Reauthorization Act of 2016" and HR441 "Aviation Innovation Reform and Reauthorization Act" efforts to achieve a multi-year FAA Reauthorization Bill in 2017 which provides certainty and moves our aviation system towards modernization, limits unnecessary regulations, allows the system to accommodate expected growth, and improves safety and fuel efficiency. Advance cargo priorities in air traffic control reform, harmonizing rules for air shipment of lithium batteries. Advance opportunities for unmanned aerial systems. Oppose unnecessary and harmful amendments to apply flight and duty rules to cargo pilots. Support of U.S. Open Skies policy.
