Promoting a specific OSHA standard for tree care occupations; OSHA Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking 1218-AC40, on a specific standard for tree care; misapplication of the OSHA logging standard to the tree care industry; concerns with OSHA directives CPL 02-01-044 and CPL 02-01-45, where they misapply the logging standard to tree care operations; concerns with new civil and criminal liability for individual directors and corporate officers, included in the Protecting America's Workers Act and the
Miner Safety and Health Act; concerns over mandatory paid leave requirements; concerns with costs vs benefits of proposed changes to OSHA's noise exposure standard and the proposed changes to the occupational injury and illness recording and reporting requirments musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) column; oppose efforts to implement provisions of the Employee Free Choice Act, like the elimination of federally supervised private ballot union elections or mandatory arbitration for first contracts, via the NLRB, including concerns with rulemakings by the NLRB and DOL, RIN 3142-AA07, RIN 3142AA08 and RIN 1215-AB79/ RIN 1245-AA03.
