Working with USDA on implementation of the 2018 Farm Bill. Specifically supporting the language for implementation of an FMD Vaccine Bank.
Worked with USDA, House, and Senate to modify the prevented planting date from November 1 to September 1 in order to allow cattle producers to graze cover crops while they still have nutritional value.
Urging Packers and Stockyards Division at USDA to monitor the cattle markets for signs of manipulation or collusion in the aftermath of the fire at the Tyson beef plant in Holcomb, Kansas.

Work on FY20 House Transportation-HUD bill (HR3163) to maintain the livestock exemption from electronic logging devices.
Supported passage of minibus #2 (HR3055)
Work on FY20 Senate Agriculture Appropriations Bill (S 2522) to support funding for FMD research and prevention and to prevent the inclusion of any mandatory country-of-origin labeling provisions.
Work on FY20 Senate Interior and Environment Bill (S 2580) to restore the feedlot exemption from greenhouse gas reporting.
Work on FY20 Senate Transportation-HUD bill (S 2520) to maintain the livestock exemption from
