H.R. 68 - Housing Fairness Act - The bill would increase HUDs Fair Housing Initiatives Program by $18 million with the bulk of funds directed to increased discrimination testing under the Private Enforcement Initiative.
H.R. 1319 - The American Rescue Plan Act - C.A.R. advocated for financial support for mom-and-pop landlords, the paycheck protection program, and assistance for struggling homeowners.
H.R. 1836 - Guard and Reserve GI Bill Parity Act - C.A.R. discussed the provision of the bill that increased and extended fees on VA home loans.
H.R. 2126 - Housing Supply and Affordability Act - Will create a housing grant program that state and local governments can apply for to create more housing units.
H.R. 3684 - INVEST in America Act - C.A.R. advocated against the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac fee in the bill used to offset the cost.
H.R. 5915 - FHA Fairness Act - Would increase FHA loan limits in certain counties.
S. 769 - Housing Fairness Act - The bill would increase HUDs Fair Housing Initiatives Program by $18 million with the bulk of funds directed to increased discrimination testing under the Private Enforcement Initiative

H.R. 2143 - Neighborhood Homes Investment Act - Will offer tax credits to attract private investment for building and rehabilitating owner-occupied homes.
H.R. 4759 - Revitalizing Downtowns Act - Will provide tax incentives for commercial property owners to convert unused office space to residential units or other more productive uses.
H.R. 5376 - Build Back Better Act - Would create downpayment assistance program for homebuyer, increase state and local tax deductions, and other social programs for housing.
S. 98 - Neighborhood Homes Investment Act - Will offer tax credits to attract private investment for building and rehabilitating owner-occupied homes.
S. Con. Res. 14 - The Concurrent Resolution on the Budget for Fiscal Year 2022 - C.A.R. advocated against paying for the cost of the bill by eliminating or capping 1031 like-kind exchanges, weakening or eliminating stepped-up basis or creating a capital gains tax on unrealized gains at time of death, and increases in the capital gains rate as it would apply to the disposition of real property.
