Implementation of S. 2270 - Insurance Capital Standards Clarification Act of 2014. The bill would give the Federal Reserve the authority to tailor capital standards for insurance companies subject to Fed supervision. Issue: Capital Standards, Basel III

H.R. 26, Terrorism Risk Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2015. Amends the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act of 2002 to extend the Terrorism Insurance Program until December 31, 2020. This bill also amends the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act to repeal the contingent conditions under which the National Association of Registered Agents and Brokers (NARAB) shall not be established. In anticipation of a new bill being introduced in the 114th Congress, replacing the 113th Congress HR 3830/S 1900: Bipartisan Congressional Trade Priorities Act of 2014, lobbying for passage of Trade Promotion Authority and the reduction or elimination of tariff and nontariff barriers to international trade.
This lobbying has also included lobbying discussions of currently ongoing trade negotiations on the Transpacific Partnership (TPP), the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA) and the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), for which there currently are no legislative bills.
