S.179: Health Information Technology Act of 2009 - Interested in the entire legislation and its impact on Health Information Technology.
H.R. 461: 10,000 Trained by 2010 Act - Interested in the entirety of the bill and its focus on health information management
and health informatics workforce and education issues.
H.R. 1:American Recovery and Investment Act of 2009 and S.1, ARRA - Interested in provisions impacting health information technology including various elements of the bill that addressed telemedicine, broadband and related issues. This does include the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program. Health information technology incentive provisions are also included in the Medicare/Medicaid provisions. Also have an interest in areas of the legislation impacting workforce, training and education. Agencies where interest exists: Department of Health and Human Services (ONC, CMS, HRSA), Department of Labor, National Institute of Standards and Technology, Department of Agriculture, Department of Veterans Affairs.
S.Res. 25: National Data Privacy Day and H.Res. 31 National Data Privacy Day - Interested in the entirety of each bill. The bill established January 28, 2009 as National Data Privacy Day.

S.1176 Allied Health Reinvestment Act - Interested in the entirety of this bill to amend the Public Health Service Act to promote and improve the allied health professionals.
S.1173 Community Based Health Care Retraining Act - Interested in this bill to establish a demonstration project to train unemployed workers for employment as health care professionals, and for other purposes.
