Keyston XL Pipeline: Advocated for the granting of a Presidential Permit for the pipeline.
HR 1938 The North American-Made Energy Security Act - Advocated for the Passage of the legislation. This is a bill that would help to expedite the decision process. To further advance the permitting process for the Keystone XL Pipeline.
Infrastructure Jobs and Energy Independence Act of 2011, H.R. 1861 - Advocated for passage of this bill, to use energy royalties to fund infrastructure.

Surface Transportation Act: (No Bill #) Worked to secure passage of a robust Surface Transportation Act Reauthorization (Rep. Micah's proposal and Senator Boxer's proposal), to reauthorize federal funding levels for the national surface transportation program

Prevailing Wage Laws/Davis Bacon: Worked to oppose efforts to eliminate or constrict the application of prevailing wage laws including urging Member's of Congress to oppose the: Gosas Amendment H. Amdt. 386 to the Dept. of Homeland Security Appropriation Act of 2012; Amash amendment H. Amdt. 413 to the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act for 2012
Prevailing Wage/Davis Bacon Cont. - Met with members of Congress and staff to advocate for the consistent application of prevailing wage laws to federally assisted construction.
Project Labor Agreements: Worked to oppose efforts to eliminate or constrict the use of project labor agreements including urging Member of Congress to oppose the Scalise Amendment H. Amdt. 388 - Worked to pass the LaTourette amendment H. Amdt. 411 which stripped language to prohibit PLA's that was contained in the Military construction and Veteran's Affairs Appropriations Act of 2012.
H.R. 122 - Federal Employee Accountability Act of 2011 - Lobbied against this bill, which would restrict official time for federal sector union representatives.
H.R. 270 - To provide for a 10% reduction in pay for Members of Congress, to make Federal civilian employees subject to a period of mandatory unpaid leave, to reduce appropriations for salaries and expenses for offices of the legislative branch during fiscal year 2012, and for other purposes. Lobbied against this bill, which would furlough federal workers for two weeks.
S. 644 - Public-Private Employee Retirement Parity Act - Lobbied against this bill, which would eliminate the FERS pension for new federal employees.
H.R. 1824 - a bill to make modifications to the Board of Directors to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA). Lobbied in support of retaining the MWAA Board's current structure.

HR 1169 - The National Guard Technician Equity Act. This bill would provide National Guard dual-status technicians improved rights under federal laws regarding workplace matters. LIUNA lobbied for passage of this bill, including its inclusion in the Fiscal Year 2012 National Defense Authorization (NDAA), which authorizes programs at the Defense Department each year.
