lobbying on proposals included in or being considered to be in the National Defense Authorization Act for FY2017 HR4904, S2943 including preserving the commissary and exchange benefits; opposing the privatizing of the commissaries, preserving the TRICARE Prime,TRICARE Standard and TRICARE Extra; opposing a new TRICARE Choice plan in place of Standard which would include a requirement to enroll yearly and pay $900 yearly enrollment fee; working to coordinate DoD and VA mental health drug prescriptions; supporting the end of the SBP/DIC offset HR1594;in opposition of a yearly enrollment fee for TRICARE for Life and increases in TRICARE pharmacy co-pays in support of improvements for TRICARE coverage of medical care ;lobbying on behalf of more mental health services and other TRICARE improvements; lobbying in opposition to cuts in the BHA (Basic Housing Allowance); lobbying in support of a Cold War decoration; lobbying for these and other issues to be included in HR 4904 & S.2943 NDAAs and urging it to be passed before end of 114th session of Congress
