S. 1658, the "Law Enforcement Officers Parity Act," a bill to amend title 5, United States Code, to include certain Federal positions within the definition of law enforcement officer for retirement purposes; entire bill. H.R. 1323, "LEO Fair Retirement Act," a bill to amend title 5, United States Code, to provide that for purposes of computing the annuity of certain law enforcement officers, any hours worked in excess of the limitation applicable to law enforcement premium pay shall be included in such computation; entire bill. General education regarding the need to improve efforts to recruit and retain federal law enforcement employees, including addressing the harmful impacts from the statutory caps on overtime pay and the lack of uniform retirement coverage for federal police officers.
