Continuing to lobby against proposals todramaticly change and increase benefiicaries' cost-share in TRICARE Pharmacy program,opposed to creation of TFL yearly enrollment fee; creation of changes in proposed changes in TRICARE programs for military retirees under the age of 65; opposed to proposals for 2 new BRAC rounds and against creation of "BRAC like" Commission to study and recommend system wide changes in the military retirement system that could not be modified by Congress but
only allowed an up or down Congressional vote on the Commission plan; all proposals incorporated into FY2013 NDAA;S3245
In favor of improvements in military healthcare system for all beneficiaries including mental health care S325 and HR 948 (for drilling members of the Guard and Reserve;
Improveing returning service members post deployment rest S2121;
In favor of improvments in programs that help service members to transfer into civilian life. These programs include those for active duty service members who are retireing; and who are leaving as veterans or are still serving in the National Guard and Reserve.These bills include d but were not limited to: HR865
