During the quarter, the Company coordinated email letters in support of the Lead Exposure Reduction Amendments Act of 2015 (H.R. 2328), which would reform the EPA's Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule. The Company also met with the EPA to discuss the status of the Energy Star version 7 program and the planned Energy Star for Storm Windows program. In addition, the Company met with DOE to discuss the status of an ongoing Vacuum Insulation for Windows Project sponsored by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, to determine whether such project has potential applications with respect to other building envelope components.

The Company engaged in lobbying efforts in favor of the TSCA Modernization Act of 2015 (H.R. 2576), which is designed to modernize the Toxic Substances Control Act. The Company also monitored and advocated for the Energy Savings and Industrial Competitiveness Act and the Energy Policy Modernization Act of 2015(S.720 and S.2012). S.720 would authorize appropriations with respect to a variety of energy efficiency initiatives, while S.2012 would authorize appropriations for a variety of programs administered primarily by the Department of Energy. The Company also met with the EPA to discuss the status of the Energy Star version 7 program and the planned Energy Star for Storm Windows program.
