- Discussed S. 2156 with a member of the Missouri congressional delegation.
- Corresponded with the members of the Missouri congressional delegation regarding components of H.R. 1 regarding the ability of hospitals to use private activity bonds and advance refunding bonds, the deductibility of medical expenses, an excise tax on compensation of employees of 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations, and repeal of the individual mandate for those above certain income thresholds to have health insurance coverage.
- Corresponded with the members of the Missouri congressional delegation regarding the health insurer Anthems implementation of coverage restrictions for hospital emergency and imaging services.
- Corresponded with several members of the Missouri congressional delegation regarding proposed questions to ask Alex Azar in considering his nomination to be Secretary of Health and Human Services.
- Responded to queries from a member of the Missouri congressional delegation regarding proposed revisions to S. 2156.
