S1276 The Private Fund Transparency Act of 2009. NVCA wants language clarification to exclude the venture capital industry.
HR 711 - The Hedge Fund Advisors Act of 2009; NVCA opposes any inclusion of venture capital industry in this bill.
Title IV - Registration of Advisors to Private Fund: oppose administration language to require vc firms to register with the SEC.

S.4053 SBIR/STTR Reauthorization Act supported Title II of the bill which would allow venture capital companies to compete for SBIR/STTR grants and other SBA Programs. HR 2965: Enhancing small business research and innovation act. S1233: a bill to reauthorize and improve SBIR/STTR programs for other purposes. HR3738: Small Business Early Stage Investment Act of 2009: establishes a small business early stage investment program at the SBA. HR5297: The Small Business Lending Act of 2010.
Title 111 establishes a small business early stage investment program at the SBA. NVCA Supports this provision.
