H.R. 935, the Reducing Regulatory Burdens Act. Ensure congressional members and staff are aware of NWRA members support for H.R. 935 and their concern about unnecessarily duplicative and costly regulations. (Also TRA)
Food Safety Modernization Act. Work with FDA and Congress to ensure that the implementation of the Food Safety Modernization Act will safeguard food supply and consider the importance of currently applied irrigation and on farm best practices.

S. 1946, To Amend the Reclamation Safety of Dams Act of 1978 to modify the authorization of appropriations. Work on behalf of NWRA members to support efforts that ensure the Bureau of Reclamation has the tools necessary to maintain the structural integrity and safety of federal dams.
S. 2010/ H.R. 1963, The Bureau of Reclamation Conduit Hydropower Development Equity and Jobs Act. Work to support efforts that would lead to the production of more clean, renewable energy developed through small hydropower.
S. 2019, The Secure Water Amendments Act. Encourage enactment of legislation that would help water users address current and future droughts by providing water supply options like water recycling.
S. 2084, The Community Protection Act. Discuss the importance of the Endangered Species Act and its effects on water users.
H.R. 3189, The Water Rights Protection Act. Support efforts to protect western water rights and the role of states in western water law.
H.R. 3980, The Water Supply Permitting Coordination Act. Advocate for improving the permitting process to ensure environmental compliance, improve efficiency and provide opportunities to increase water supply that will help address drought and climate variability.
H.R. 3981, The Accelerated Revenue, Repayment and Surface Water Storage Enhancement Act. Encourage Congress to provide creative funding opportunities that would drive revenue to help create additional water supply to meet growing water needs.
H.R. 4315, 21st Century Endangered Species Transparency Act. Meet with congressional offices to discuss the importance of the Endangered Species Act and its effects on water users.
H.R. 4136, Endangered Species Recovery Transparency Act. Meet with congressional offices to discuss the importance of the Endangered Species Act and its effects on water users.
