Met with 10 members of Congress and their staffs during the Navy League two day Fly In to storm Capitol Hill and advocate for support of the Sea Services.
Met with numerous Flag Level Federal Officials from various Federal Agencies to advocate for installation energy efficiency and resiliency: Department of Defense (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Defense Logistics Agency).
Organized and moderated (for the Navy League) a Congressional Shipbuilding Caucus breakfast on the Hill.
Attended fundraising events for JCIs Political Action Committee (PAC).
Coordinated/Help Write Draft Legislation with Congressional staffs for inclusion in the 2018 National Defense Authorization Act for funding and support of: cybersecurity, stored energy, smart grid, and performance contract projects.
Attended and networked with top officials from the Navy League, Army Engineer Association, Society of American Military Engineers, and Association of the U.S. Army at breakfasts, lunches, receptions, conferences, and dinners.
