Support H.R. 6576, the Medicare Adult Day Services Act, to provide Medicare coverage for approved adult day services for Medicare beneficiaries.
Support S. 501, the Fostering Independence Through Technology Act, to provide incentives for home health agencies to use home monitoring and communications technology.
S. 818/H.R. 1543, Improving Access to Medicare Coverage Act - support. Would specify that a Medicare beneficiary hospitalized under observation for more than 24 hours would be deemed to have been an inpatient and would be considered to have been disharged upon leaving the hospital. Under these circumstance, the beneficiary would be eligible for Medicare Part A coverage of post-acute care.
Advocated for extension of Medicare therapy caps exception process.
