Neotropical Migratory Bird Conservation Act (reauthorization draft bill). Urged cosponsorship on a bill to reauthorize the Neotropical Migratory Bird Conservation Act to help address the growing threats to America's migratory birds.
H.R.1731 RECLAIM Act. Expressed support for the advancement of legislation that incorporates the need for reclaimed abandoned mine lands to support healthy ecosystems for wildlife in cooperation with robust economic development opportunities and stakeholder engagement.
S. 951 Regulatory Accountability Act of 2017. Voiced opposition to the bill in order to maintain the vital role of our regulatory system in protecting wildlife and our environment
Voiced importance of a strong Endangered Species Act for wildlife and for more funding for proactive wildlife conservation.

H.R. 953 Reducing Regulatory Burdens Act of 2017. Urged a NO vote on a bill that would create a Clean Water Act loophole for the discharge of pesticides to our nations waterways, leaving us without a remedy to restore waters impaired by pesticides. Nearly 2,000 waterways in the United States are known to be impaired because of pesticide pollution, and pesticides pose a particularly concerning threat to wildlife populations.
