Davis Bacon/Prevailing Wage - Worked to educate members of Congress on the important improvement in the new Davis Bacon proposed rule.
Local Hire - Worked to educate Members of Congress of the importance of hiring a local workforce when an infrastructure project receives federal assistance.
Apprenticeship Utilization -Worked to educate Members of Congress of the importance of using registered apprentices when an infrastructure project receives federal assistance.
H.R. 447 - National Apprenticeship Act: Lobbied in support of the bill which would strengthen registered apprenticeship programs. LIUNA supports.
LIUNA lobbied in support of the nomination of Jessica Looman to be the Dept. of Labor, Wage and Hour Administrator.

Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act - LIUNA is monitoring the implementation phase of the IIJA to secure the broadest benefit for American workers.
Worked to include certain labor standards (Davis Bacon and apprenticeship utilization) in the Inflation Reduction Act.
Energy Independence and Security Act of 2022 (No Bill # Sen. Manchin's Permitting reform proposal)- LIUNA lobbied for inclusion of the proposal in the Inflation Reduction Act)
Lobbied in support of the The Willow project in the Bear Tooth Unit in the northeast portion of the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska.
