Support the For the People Act (H.R. 1 and S.949), a democracy reform package which includes a new public matching funds system for funding campaigns, automatic voter registration, establishes independent redistricting commissions, strengthens ethics laws, and strengthens campaign finance laws.
Support voting rights, redistricting, and government ethics legislation.
Support the election provisions of the Health and Economic Recovery Omnibus Emergency Solutions (HEROES) Act.
Support additional $3.6 billion in funding in coronavirus relief package to help state and local governments ensure safe, honest and fair elections.
Support comprehensive legislation to address the health, economic, and institutional consequences of the COVID-19 crisis.
Support election security bills in the House and Senate.
Support campaign finance disclosure legislation in the House and Senate.
Support Protecting Our Democracy Act, H.R.8363, which contains reforms necessary to prevent presidential abuses, restore our system of checks and balances, provide accountability and transparency, and protect our elections.
Support three amendments included in FY2021 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA): Sen. Tim Kaines amendment (Section 1044 of S. 4049), adopted by voice in committee; Rep. Veronica Escobars amendment (Section 1052 of H.R. 6395), adopted on the House floor; and Rep. Mikie Sherrills amendment (Section 513 of H.R. 6395), adopted in committee.
Support House-passed $19.1 million for the operating and programmatic expenses of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) in end-of-year funding package.
Support censuring Attorney General William Barr.
Support H.R. 4, the Voting Rights Advancement Act (reintroduced as the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act), to restore voting rights protections that were eliminated by the Shelby County v. Holder decision.
Support H.R. 51, the DC Admissions Act, to make DC a state.
Oppose S.5085 which ties creation of an Election Assistance Commission Advisory Group and repeal of Section 230 of the Communications Act of 1934 to the provision of $2000 COVID stimulus checks.
