Supported an amendment to the House version of the National Defense Authorization Act, to exempt the Miller Act, 40 USC Section 3131 et seq., a remedial statute affording payment protections to subcontractors and others working on federal construction contracts, from periodic indexing for inflation. Educated Congressional offices on the importance of keeping the accepted amendment in NDAA and in the conference report.
