FY 2010 Agriculture Appropriations Bill (H.R. 2997/S. 1406) - A bill making appropriations for Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies. Of interest to the organization are provisions pertaining to poultry trade with China, Agriculture in the Classroom program, conservation programs, etc.
Interior and Environment Appropriations Bill (H.R. 2996) - A bill making appropriations for the Department of the Interior, environment, and related agencies. Of interest to the organization were possible amendments to the bill pertaining to indirect land use calculations for biofuels and the regulation of carbon dioxide under the Federal Clean Air Act.

H.R. 1220 - Legislation to amend Title 49 of the United States Code to provide certain exemptions to drivers of intrastate commercial motor vehicles engaged in agricultural purposes, and for other purposes.
Reauthorization of the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU) - Legislation authorizing funds for surface transportation projects and safety programs administered by the U.S. Department of Transportation. Of interest to the organization are provisions applicable to agricultural transportation (i.e. the transport of farm commodities, equipment, supplies, etc).

America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 (H.R. 3200) - Legislation to provide affordable, quality health care for all Americans and reduce the growth in health care spending, and for other purposes. Health care reform is of interest to the organization because access to quality medical care is important to individuals living in rural areas, as is access to affordable health
insurance. The organization supports market reforms and elimination of unnecessary government regulations, but opposes a national health plan administered by the Federal government.
The Affordable Health Choices Act (S. 1679) - Legislation to make quality, affordable health care available to all Americans, reduce costs, improve health care quality, enhance disease prevention, and strengthen the health care workforce. Of interest to the national organization was an amendment pertaining to employers of temporary and seasonal workers.
