Support the For the People Act (H.R. 1 and S. 1) and the Freedom To Vote Act (S. 2747), a democracy reform package which includes a new public matching funds system for funding campaigns, automatic voter registration, establishes independent redistricting commissions, strengthens ethics laws, and strengthens campaign finance laws.
Support for an exception to the filibuster rules to pass fundamental voting rights and democracy reforms.
Support for voting rights, redistricting, and government ethics legislation.
Support the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (H.R. 4 and S. 4263) legislation to restore voting rights protections previously included in the Voting Rights Advancement Act.
Support the Protecting Our Democracy Act (H.R. 5314) to restore the governments system of checks and balances, strengthen accountability and transparency, and protect Americas elections from foreign interference.
Support the Deceptive Practices and Voter Intimidation Prevention Act (S. 1840) to prohibit attempts to deprive citizens of their vote through deception about the time, place, eligibility, or procedures of a federal election, and prohibit interference that prevents a citizen from voting, registering to vote, or helping someone else vote or register to vote.
Support H.R. 51, the DC Admissions Act, to make Washington, DC a state.
Support establishing a commission to investigate and report on the events of 1/6/21.
Support the DISCLOSE Act, to combat the flood of special interest spending in politics.
Support NDAA amendments to require the executive heads of states and territories to give consent to the deployment of another states National Guard within their jurisdiction; to give the Mayor of Washington, DC command and control of the DC National Guard, and to close the Section 502(f) loophole in the Posse Comitatus Act (PCA).
