This bill would provide a defense to liability where electric utility compliance with a Department of Energy emergency order to generate electricity results in violations of environmental laws or regulations.
S.1: Keystone XL Pipeline Approval Act
S.128, S.535: Energy Efficiency Improvement Act of 2015
Title II of the bill includes provisions to improve and promote energy efficiency in buildings, and to permit the manufacture of large capacity (exceeding 75 gallons) electric resistance water heaters for demand response programs.
S.697: Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act
A bill to amend the Toxic Substances Control Act.
S.720: Energy Savings and Industrial Competitiveness Act of 2015
This bill would promote the use of energy efficiency technologies in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors of our economy.
S.869: All-of-the-Above Federal Building Energy Conservation Act of 2015
This bill would repeal statutory language requiring the federal government to refrain from purchasing fossil fuel-based electricity by 20130 and replace the language with new energy efficiency requirements.
