Local Hire - Worked to educate Members of Congress of the importance of hiring a local workforce when an infrastructure project receives federal assistance.
Apprenticeship Utilization -Worked to educate Members of Congress of the importance of using registered apprentices when an infrastructure project receives federal assistance.
H.R. 842/S. 420 - PRO Act: Lobbied in support of the bill which amends NLRA to provide extensive labor union and worker protections.
H.R. 447 - National Apprenticeship Act: Lobbied in support of the bill which would strengthen registered apprenticeship programs. LIUNA supports.

Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act - LIUNA is monitoring the implementation phase of the IIJA to secure the broadest benefit for American workers.
LIUNA lobbied in opposition to FERC: Docket No. PL18-1-000 - Certification of New Interstate Natural Gas Facilities Consideration of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Natural Gas Infrastructure Project Reviews.

DHS and Labor-HHS Appropriations FY 22 - LIUNA has lobbied in favor of inclusion of pro-worker reforms to the H-2B guest worker visa program in both DOL and DHS appropriations.
H-2B guest worker visa program reform - LIUNA opposes raising the cap on H-2B foreign guest worker visas and supports worker reforms to the program.
