CHN supports maximum funding for programs in the LHHS Appropriations Subcommittee.
CHN supports H Res 294 the House deeming resolution with funding levels of 664 B for defense and $631 B for non-defense discretionary programs for FY 2020.
CHN supports funding for the Census Bureau of $8.45 B for FY 2020 which includes $7.5 B n dedicated funding for the 2020 Census.
CHN opposed the King amendment to H.R.3055 Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2020 that would have opened the door to the citizenship question the Census
CHN supports provisions in H.R. 3401 the making Emergency Supplemental Appropriations for the Fiscal Year Ending September 30, 2019 that: provides humanitarian assistance for immigrant children and families through the Office of Refugee Resettlement; provides transparency and limits transfer of funds in (Department of Homeland Security (DHS); and disallows Health and Human Services (HHS) sharing information about parents of immigrant children with DHS. CHN opposes provisions that provide more funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Custom and border Protection (CBP) for more detention beds and enforcement.
CHN opposes S. 2765, the Bipartisan Congressional Budget Reform Act that reduces the incentives for thoughtful assessments of the nations priorities and for paying to meet our needs responsibly.
CHN opposes S. 2593, the End Government Shutdowns Act that would provide for an automatic Continuing Resolution if appropriations are not enacted before the expiration of funding.

CHN supports H.R. 2157 making Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2019 that would extend the National Flood Insurance Program through Sept. 30; provide aid to both Puerto Rico and the states in the U.S. hit by flooding and other disasters; Medicaid funds for the U.S. territories; requiring OMB and HUD to release disaster funding already approved; and humanitarian aid for unaccompanied children. CHN opposes using humanitarian aid for inhumane detention or separating children from their families.

CHN support H.R. 6 the American Dream and Promise Act of 2019 that would provide permanent protection and a path to citizenship for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA), Temporary Protective Status (TPS) and Deferred Enforcement Deportation (DED) recipients.
CHN supports provisions in H.R. 3401 the making Emergency Supplemental Appropriations for the Fiscal Year Ending September 30, 2019 that: provides humanitarian assistance for immigrant children and families in the Office of Refugee Resettlement facilities that are Flores compliant and state-licenses; limits transfer of funds in (Department of Homeland Security (DHS); and precludes information obtained from children being shared with ICE and CBP. CHN opposes provisions that provide more funding for ICE and CBP for more detention beds and enforcement.
CHN supports S.J.Res.54, the resolution of disapproval to terminate President Trump's border emergency declaration under which he move money from elsewhere to build border fence.
CHN supports H.R. 2146, the Guaranteed Refugee Admissions Ceiling Enhancement (GRACE) Act that would set a minimum floor for the annual refugee admissions goal at 95,000.
CHN supports The Health Equity & Access under the Law (HEAL) for Immigrant Women and Families Act of 2019 what would remove the legal and policy barriers to health insurance for immigrants.
CHN supports the Refugee Protection Act of 2019 that would strengthen legal safeguards for those seeking protection from persecution and violence.
CHN supports H.R. 5038, the Farm Workforce Modernization Act of 2019 that would provide an earned path to legal immigration status and citizenship to farmworkers and their families.

CHN supports H.R. 1711 No tax Breaks for Outsourcing that would modify the tax treatment of the foreign source income of domestic corporations.
CHN supports S. 158/H.R. 2923 Inclusive Prosperity Act 2019 that would impose a small sales tax on Wall Street trades.
CHN supports S. 309 For the 99.8% Act that would restore the estate tax exemption to the 2009 level and raise the rate on the wealthiest estates.
CHN supports S.2553, Eliminating Discrimination and Creating Corridors to Expand Student Success Act of 2019 (ED ACCESS Act) which would repeal the lifetime ban on drug felons from receiving the American Opportunity Tax Credit (AOTC).
CHN supports S. 2809, the Millionaires Surtax Act.
CHN opposes the The Cassidy-Sinema plan would help working families now by funding paid parental leave or infant care expenses through advancing the Child Tax Credit (CTC).
