Discussion with selected House and Senate offices regarding the importance of maintaining and building on progress with regard to health care coverage and delivery/payment reform.
Advocacy with House and Senate offices, on behalf of value-based insurance design proposals that would expand the current preventive services safe harbor to allow coverage for high-value chronic care services prior to exhaustion of the deductible in Health Savings Account/ High-Deductible Health Plans, including advocacy in support of HR 5652 the Access to Better Care Act.
Advocacy with House and Senate offices in support of robust funding for health care prevention programs, the Teaching Health Center Program, the National Health Service Corps and Federally Qualified Health Centers. Discussion with House and Senate offices regarding avenues to improve affordability of coverage in the employer-sponsored and commercial markets.
