Sustainable Growth Rate Formula (H.R.574, Senate Finance, House Energy and Commerce and House Ways and Means Committee drafts) - monitored ongoing discussions to replace the sustainable growth rate formula for Medicare reimbursement for physicians. Advocated against further cuts to hospital payments in order to offset replacement costs.
Budget Control Act - Urged Congress to pass legislation to avoid or delay sequestration Medicare reimbursement cuts for hospitals.

340B Drug Discount Program - Advocated for the Health Resources and Services Administration to provide additional time to hospitals to comply with revised guidance on the GPO exclusion utilized by the program.
House and Senate Budget Resolutions - Tracked negotiations over House and Senate Budget resolutions. Opposed proposals that would reduce reimbursement for hospitals.
Shortage of Prescription Drugs - monitored expanding regulatory efforts from the Food and Drug Administration related to compounding pharmacies. Supported efforts to ensure quality compounding and manufacturing processes, while ensuring integrity in the prescription drug supply-chain.
