Amdt. No. 873: Estate Tax - NETWORK opposes further reduction of the Estate Tax. NETWORK supports keeping the Estate Tax at the 2009 level, making it permanent while indexing for inflation.
H.Con.Res. 85/S.Con.Res 13: FY 2010 Budget - NETWORK urges economic opportunity for all, investing in child nutrition programs, comprehensive healthcare reform and the highest possible discretionary spending caps for human needs
FY 2010 Budget - support the priorities of: health care reform, education and clean energy; and more equitable, progressive taxation.
H.R. 1472: American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 - NETWORK supports the level of support for domestic human needs programs within the ARRA: housing vouchers, increases to SNAP (Food Stamps), LIHEAP and support to states for covering costs of Medicaid.
H.R. 384 - NETWORK supports strong regulation of loopholes and increase in funding for monitoring transparency and use of funding in the TARP.
H.R. 1105: FY 2009 Omnibus - NETWORK supports passage of this funding bill, with the increased funding of human needs programs.

H2B Regulation - NETWORK opposes the implementation of regulations implemented by the Bush administration, as they increase abuses of workers.
Comprehensive Immigration Reform - NETWORK supports comprehensie immigration reform: humane enforcement, preserving family unity and a process toward citizenship, and addressing the root causes (in trade practices) of migration.
H-2A - NETWORK supports stopping the regulation changes to the Guest Worker Program as designed by the previous administration, as they resulted in worker abuse.

Affordable Housing - NETWORK supports an emphasis within THUD appropriations of $5 billion for public housing capital funding
H.R. 1 and S.1 - NETWORK supports inclusion, in the ARRA, of extensive funding for housing programs to 1) provide relief to families hardest hit by the recession, 2) stimulate the economy, 3) contribute to the "greening" agenda, and 4) save neighborhoods from deterioration.
Affordable Housing - NETWORK supports a broadening of thinking of "housing" to substantially include affordable rental opportunities
Gulf Coast Civic Works Act (H.R. 4048 in 110th Congress) - NETWORK strongly supports the reintroduction and passage of this bill to not only provide housing (which is affordable and "green"), but to provide the means of return to the Gulf Coast area of those with the least resources and who lost the most in recent Hurricanes.
H.R. 1106 - NETWORK strongly supports bankruptcy judges having the authority to re-negotiation mortgages on primary residences.

ARRA - NETWORK strongly supports additional funding of nutrition programs, the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (TEFAP) and the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) within this economic recovery program.
ARRA - NETWORK supports inclusion of significant funding for low-income renters who are evicted due to others' actions, and increases in funding for medical coverage, and for job training which invests in clean sustainable and renewable energy.
