Plastics (H.R. 1512 - CLEAN Future Act Title IX, S. 923/H.R. 2159 - RECYCLE Act, H.R. 2357 - RECOVER Act, S. 984/H.R. 2238 - Break Free From Plastic Pollution Act, H.R. 2777 - Advanced Recycling R&D Act, H.R. 2821 - Plastic Waste Reduction & Recycling Research Act). BASF supports policies to promote advanced recycling and improve and enhance recovery and recycling infrastructures, rather than ban certain products.
Plastics (INVEST Act Implementation - H.R. 3684). BASF supports open competition in the procurement of infrastructure piping materials.
HFCs (Implementation of American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act/Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 - H.R. 133). BASF seeks to work with EPA in implementing the phasedown of HFCs.

BASF supports existing laws and regulations requiring rigorous scientific evaluation of pesticide products, including sound implementation and eventual renewal of the Pesticide Registration Improvement Act (PRIA) and efficient processes for pesticide evaluations under the Endangered Species Act.
Agricultural Policy (including S. 1251 - Growing Climate Solutions Act). BASF supports agricultural policies that address climate change, including those that advance the use of modern agricultural technologies.
Digital Farming (no bills). BASF supports the expansion of rural broadband connectivity to enable digital farming.
Agricultural Biotechnology (no bills). BASF supports additional exemptions to the regulation of agricultural biotechnology under USDA's SECURE rule, as well as the modernization of biotechnology regulations by other relevant agencies.
Biostimulants (no bills). BASF supports a consistent and predictable path to
market for plant biostimulant products, including at both EPA and USDA.
