Lobbied for increased airport infrastructure investment through raising the passenger facility charge and increased funding for the Airport Improvement Program. Supported H.R. 6327 and H.R. 3540, FAA extension bills, particularly proposals to include a fix for the Highway Trust Fund shortfall.

Supported H.R. 1023 and S. 777 to repeal a new requirement that all levels of government withhold three percent of payments to contractors for goods and services. Urged House Ways and Means Committee and Senate Finance Committee to generate new revenues for the Airport and Airway Trust Fund to support aviation investment levels proposed in H.R. 2881 and S. 1300. Supported H.R. 5719, the Taxpayer Assistance and Simplification Act of 2008 to delay the implementation of a 3% withholding provision.
