Expressed support for/encouraged Representatives, Senators, and legislative staff to support an omnibus appropriations bill for the remainder of FY17. (No legislation introduced in 1st Quarter). Expressed opposition to a government shutdown at expiration of continuing resolution.
Expressed opposition to Representatives, Senators, and legislative staff to recommendations contained in the Office of Management and Budget's FY 2017 Reduction Options (no legislation introduced); encouraged Congress to enact omnibus spending bill without readjusting budget caps or making large in-year reductions to research and education programs.
Expressed opposition to Representatives, Senators, and legislative staff to budget cuts to research and education programs outlined in the OMB budget document "America First: A Budget Blueprint to Make American Great Again." (No legislation introduced)
