General advocacy efforts as it relates to the automotive and transportation sectors. Issues include safety, environmental, manufacturing, trade, foreign affairs and labor relations. Implementation of PL 112-141, Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Centruy (MAP-21) provisions related to motor vehicle and highway safety.
Changes to FCC rules on unlicensed national information infrastructure ( U-NII) devices in the 5GHz band, provisions seeking comment on making available an additional 195 megahertz of spectrum in the 5.35 - 5.47 GHZ and 5.85-5.925 GHz bands for U-NII devices use (ET Docket No. 13-49; FCC 13-22).
NHTSA regulations regarding driver distraction guidelines for in-vehicle electronic devices (Docket No. NHTSA-2010-0053).
