Immigration reform. Both House and Senate are wrokingon comprehensive immigration bills. In the Senate, the focus was on the Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Medernization Act S. 744. In the House, the main focus was H.R. 2131, The Skills Visa Act. Uniting American Families Act S. 296 and H.R. 519 Lobbied House and Senate staff and members in support of legislation to permit gay and lesbian citizens to sponsor their foreign-born partners for immigration.
