Advocated that NJ Congressional Delegation members sign a letter to CMS Acting Administrator Marilyn Tavenner to re-evaluate their proposed Inpatient Prospective Payment System regulation that would apply a 2.9% cut to hospital payments in FY 2011.
Advocated that Congressman Donald Payne write to Marilyn Tavenner, CMS Acting Administrator, to request an update on a UMDNJ
-University Hospital Medicare cost appeal issue.
Advocated for passage of H.R. 4213 that would extend enhanced federal Medicaid funding for states (FMAP) beyond the current 12/31/10 expiration date.
