Implementation of the Lautenberg Chemical Safety Act. Continued interest in Congressional oversight of EPA's implementation of the Act.
Federal proposals over the use and risks of ethylene oxide.
S. 2754 legislation (none introduced yet) authorizing EPA to phasedown use of HFCs in foam blowing agents and foam products
Plastics: S. 1982 (Save Our Seas Act), H.R. 5115 (Recover Act), S. 2941 (Recycling Enhancements to Collection and Yield through Consumer Education Act). BASF supports proposals for advanced recycling of plastics and enhancements to recycling infrastructure.

Pesticide exports to Mexico. BASF is concerned about the implementation of restrictions on import of pesticides into Mexico by the Mexican government where such pesticides meet U.S. safety requirements.

Clean Industrial Technology Act (H.R. 3978, H.R. 4230, S. 2300). BASF supports CITA as a step to addressing climate change, by encouragint the development and evaluation of innovative technologies aimed at increasing the technological and economic competitiveness of industry and manufacturing in the US and increasing emissions reductions in non-power industrial sectors.
Climate Change (no bills). BASF supports legislation on climate change that: ensure that reduction targets are economically feasible and technologically reasonable. Policies must allow energy-intensive and trade-exposed (EITE) companies to remain globally competitive (carbon leakage protection).
