Excellence in Mental Health Act (S. 264/H.R. 1263), all provisions related to expanding access to mental health and addictions care by supporting FQCBHCs in treating all individuals regardless of their ability to pay, with a comprehensive array of outpatient behavioral health services
Mental Health First Aid Act of 2013 (S. 153/H.R. 274), all provisions related to authorizing a demonstration program to train college faculty and staff in Mental Health First Aid, a community education program that helps people identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and addictions and deal with psychiatric crises
Behavioral Health Information Technology Act (S. 1517/S. 1685/H.R. 2957), all provisions related to expanding federal incentive payments for the adoption and meaningful use of electronic health records to behavioral health providers and facilities
Mental Health Access Improvement Act of 2013 (H.R. 3662/S. 562), all provisions related to amending title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to cover marriage and family therapist services and mental health counselor services under Medicare part B (Supplementary Medical Insurance), particularly those provided in rural health clinics, federally qualified health centers, and in hospice programs.
Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Act of 2013 (H.R. 401/S. 162), all provisions related to amending the Mentally Ill Offender Treatment and Crime Reduction Act of 2004 to expand the assistance provided under this Act and reauthorize appropriations for FY2015-FY2019.
Better Care, Lower Cost Act (S. 1932/H.R. 3890), all provisions related to establishing an integrated chronic care delivery program that promotes accountability and better care management for chronically ill patient populations and coordinates items and services under Medicare parts A, B, and D while encouraging investment in infrastructure and redesigned care processes that result in high quality and efficient service delivery for the most vulnerable and costly populations.
Suicide Prevention Research Innovation Act (S. 2035/H.R. 4075), all provisions related to providing funding to the National Institute of Mental Health to support suicide prevention and brain research, including funding for the Brain Research Through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) Initiative.
Recidivism Reduction and Public Safety Act of 2014 (S. 1675), all provisions related to amending the federal criminal code to direct the Bureau of Prisons to offer evidence-based recidivism reduction programs to prisoners who have been assessed to need to participate in such programs.
Helping Families in Mental Health Crisis Act of 2013 (H.R. 3717), all provisions related to authorizing healthcare providers to bill Medicaid for mental health and primary care services provided to the same patient on the same day, the reauthorization of the Garrett Lee Smith Memorial Act, the reauthorization of MIOTCRA, enactment of a demonstration program based on the Excellence in Mental Health Act, and strengthening the six protected classes language in Medicare Part D.

Protecting Access to Medicare Act of 2014 (H.R. 4302), all provisions related to establishing an 8-state demonstration program to support and enhance community behavioral health services, modeled after the Excellence in Mental Health Act
