FY2023 Energy and Water Appropriations: Support increased funding for Reclamation programs including: CALFED, WIIN Storage projects, Desalination, water recycling, ecosystem restoration projects, WaterSmart, Colorado River Salinity Control Program, DOIs water conservation obligations under the DCP, cleanup of a waste disposal site near Hoover Dam, and Reclamations Safety of Dams program. Support report language clarifying the Reclamation Safety of Dams Act cost share applies to all water users. Support increased funding for DOEs Moab Uranium Mill Tailing Remedial Action Project.
FY2023Interior-Environment Appropriations: Support funding for the USGS Water and Science Program, EPA Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds, WIFIA, National Priorities Water Research Grant Program, and the Innovative Water Technologies Grant Program.
Funding to support emergency drought projects to adopt to deteriorating water supply conditions in California and Colorado River basin.
