Provided comments on draft Mining Innovation, Novel, Exploration, and Resource Advancement for Long-term Security Act:
Clarifying definition of minority-serving institution in section 2;
Adding the Arctic Energy Office in section 4;
Further defining regional diversity to include contiguous and non-contiguous states in section 4;
Ensuring proximity requirements ensure geographic considerations in section 4;
Adding language to require Tribes be required partners in section 4; and
Adding language relating to regional diversity in section 5.
Urging S. 3943, the Accelerating Networking, Cyberinfrastructure, and Hardware for Oceanic Research be included in Senate FY 25 Coast Guard Reauthorization Act and the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025 Conference Agreement.
Urging S. 4191, the Regional Leadership in Wildland Fire Research Act be included in the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025 Conference Agreement.
Provided recommendations for the National Volcano Early Warning and Monitoring System Reauthorization Act:
Require update to management plan every five years;
