S. __ - Data Care Act. The legislation would establish duties of care, loyalty, and confidentiality, and a violation of the duties would be treated as a violation of a Federal Trade Commission (FTC) rule with fine authority. Issue: Data Privacy
H.R.__/S.__ Online Privacy Act - The legislation would provide for individual rights relating to privacy of personal information, to establish privacy and security requirements for covered entities relating to personal information, and to establish an agency to be known as the Digital Privacy Agency to enforce such rights and requirements. H.R. __/S. __ DELETE Act - This bill would establish a centralized system to allow individuals to request the simultaneous deletion of their personal information across all data brokers. Issue: Data Privacy.
