Support repairing the presidential public financing system, establishing a public financing system for congressional races and curbing candidate-specific super PACs in the House and Senate.
Oppose efforts to repeal or increase the federal contribution limits.
Oppose a balanced budget constitutional amendment.
Oppose campaign finance policy riders to appropriations bill, including a rider to limit the IRS from issuing new regulations governing 501(3) organizations.
Oppose "poison pill" riders to appropriations bill.
Support pro forma session to prevent Attorney General recess appointment.
Support efforts by House Intelligence Committee and Speaker Paul Ryan to stop Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes from violating his commitment to stay out of the Committee's investigation on Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Support legislation protecting Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, including a bill which would require approval from a federal three-judge panel before a special counsel could be dismissed, and a bill which would allow a special counsel who was fired without cause to seek review and reinstatement from a panel of three federal judges.
Support "We the People" Act 2017, a comprehensive package of reforms which includes closing disclosure loopholes for outside spending groups, establishing a new campaign finance enforcement agency, establishing nonpartisan redistricting commissions, shutting down individual-candidate super PACs, and other reforms.
Raise concerns about Trey Trainor's nomination to the FEC.
Support "DRAIN the Swamp" Act requiring federal agencies developing regulations to analyze and identify any and all direct financial benefits to members of the executive branch that could come from those regulations.
