HR 3962 - a bill to provide relief for pension funds hard hit by 2008 stock market decline and also to prevent a Medicare reimbursement cut to doctors until November 30, 2010. Bill in entirety.
H.R.2989- A bill to amend the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 to provide special reporting and disclosure rules for individual account plans and to provide a minimum investment option requirement for such plans, to amend such Act to provide for independent investment advice for participants and beneficiaries under individual account plans, and to amend such Act and the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide transitional relief under certain pension funding rules added by the Pension Protection Act of 2006, bill in entirety.

Advocating that the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) be implemented to increase the availability of construction loans from banks that have received tax dollars, and to make funds available to pension plans that have significant funding issues due to the collapse of the financial markets.
Advocating that the construction loans received by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) from failed banks and placed into structured deals continue to be serviced and funded to increase employment in the construction industry, and to advocate that the FDIC as the majority owner in these structured deals not allow construction projects/loans to be hedged against the markets.
