Legislation to authorize appropriations for FY 2018 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy; advocate for the defeat of House Amendment 111 relating to the Davis-Bacon Act.
General education on the Davis-Bacon Act, and on opposition to amendments that would weaken, suspend, or withhold funding for the enforcement of it.
H.R. 3219,"Make America Secure Appropriations Act." Legislation to provide FY 2018 appropriations for various federal agencies; advocate for defeat of H. Amendment 227 and Rules Committee Amendment 45 relating to the Davis-Bacon Act, and Rules Committee Amendment 46 prohibiting the use of Project Labor Agreements for federal construction projects.
H.R. 3441,"Save Local Business Act." A bill that amends the National Labor Relations Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act related to the joint employer standard. (entire bill)

S.1549,"NEW GIG Act of 2017." Amends the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide a safe harbor for determinations of worker classifications. (Entire bill.)
The Graham-Cassidy Health Care draft proposal (no bill introduced) to encourage the inclusion of a provision to repeal the "Cadillac Tax", an excise tax on employer-sponsored health care plans to which there is an excess benefit (high-cost plans), that was part of the Affordable Care Act.
