Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2024. Title one (Commoditites) of the farm bill: ARC and PLC programs and payments. Title Two (conservation): CRP and EQUIP programs. Title three (trade): support of the doubling of MAP and FMD dollars. Title eleven (crop insurance): support of the crop insurance program and increasing federal support in premium support. Title twelve (miscellaneous): a fix to Prop. 12, in regard to interstate commerce when it comes to livestock production.

The Rural Prosperity and Food Security Act. Spent time working with Senate Ag cmte staff understanding the framework of the bill. Specifically, focused on crop insurance, beginning farmer credits, loan and interest rates, a fix to California's prop 12. Prop 12 sets guidelines and rules across the country for how livestock is raised. Our focus was a fix to the interstate commerce of this rule.

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) - Treasury final rule on 40B and proposed rule on 45Z. Visited with members of the Congressional delegation to show support for SAF with some changes to the 40B rule. The bundling of farm practices the farmer must participate in does not work throughout the state and it chooses "winners and losers" to who can participate and receive a premium payment. We asked for a loosening of approved farm practices when deciding who can qualify to sell the crop to the manufacturers.
