ESEA - Support for improved partnerships between the K-12 and higher education sectors, especially related to teacher preparation and support, within the context of the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act.

S. 2179 - Military and Veterans Educational Reform Act
S. 2206 - GI Educational Freedom Act

Expressed concerns with the requirements of these measures with respect to unavailability of data and highlighting the current data that institutions currently do report, as well as the federal government intrusion into academic affairs.

H.R. 3483, the Veterans Education Equity Act of 2011

Worked to support this measure which helps veterans charged out-of-state tuition and fees.
