H.R. 1625 - Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2018- to amend the State Department Basic Authorities Act of 1956 to include severe forms of trafficking in persons within the definition of transnational organized crime for purposes of the rewards program of the Department of State, and for other purposes.
H.R. 2520 - BROWSER Act of 2017 - Balancing the Rights Of Web Surfers Equally and Responsibly Act of 2017- to require providers of broadband internet access service and edge services to clearly and conspicuously notify users of the privacy policies of such providers, to give users opt-in or opt-out approval rights with respect to the use of, disclosure of, and access to user information collected by such providers based on the level of sensitivity of such information, and for other purposes.
H.R. 2903 - Rural Reasonable and Comparable Wireless Access- to direct the Federal Communications Commission to promulgate regulations that establish a national standard for determining whether mobile and broadband services available in rural areas are reasonably comparable to those services provided in urban areas.
H.R. 3896 - Secure and Protect Americans' Data Act - to require certain entities who collect and maintain personal information of individuals to secure such information and to provide notice to such individuals in the case of a breach of security involving such information, and for other purposes.
