H. Res. 15-resolution expressing the sense of the House that the Postal Service should take all appropriate measures to ensure the continuation of 6-day mail delivery. The association endorsed the resolution
H. Res. 28-resolution expressing the sense of the House that the Postal Service should take all appropriate measures to ensure the continuation of door delivery for all business and residential customers. The association supports this resolution
H. Res. 31-resolution expressing the sense of the House that the Postal Service should take all appropriate measures to restore service standards in effect as of July 1, 2012. the association supports this resolution.
H.R. 760-"Postal Service Financial Improvement Act of 2017"-allows the Postal Service to invest a portion of the money in pre-funding account into a TSP-type L-Fund to earn a higher rate of interest. The NRLCA supports this bill
H.R. 756-"Postal Reform Act of 2017"-House postal reform legislation that attempts to solve the financial position of the USPS by requiring Medicare Integration of Parts A, B, and D, uses postal specific assumptions when calculating FERS and CSRS liabilities, allows for non-postal products, creates a new governance structure, and requires a mandatory conversion of business addresses to cluster box or curbside delivery, and allows for voluntary conversion of residence addresses from door delivery to curbside or cluster box. The NRLCA opposes the door delivery conversion language, and did not take a position on the bill.
H. Res.565-Expressing support for the recognition of October 9, 2017, as "World Post Day". The NRLCA supports this resolution
H.R. 4024-the "United States Postal Service Shipping Equity Act", this bill would allow USPS to ship alcoholic beverages directly from licensed producers and retailers to consumers over the age of 21, in accordance with state shipping regulations. The NRLCA supports this bill
H.R. 1057-"STOP Act of 2017"-legislation to ensure that merchandise arriving through the mail shall be subject to review by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and to require the provision of advance electronic information on shipments of mail to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The NRLCA has concerns with the legislation in its current form.
S. 372-"STOP Act of 2017"-the Senate companion bill to H.R. 1057. The NRLCA has concerns with the legislation in its current form.
S. 2629-"Postal Service Reform Act of 2018"-Senate postal reform legislation more commonly referred to as IPost, the bill would require Medicare Integration of Parts A,B, and D for postal retirees but includes provisions for geographic and hardship, restores half of the temporary rate increase, preserves service standards for 2 years, and allows for the delivery of beer, wine and distilled spirits. The NRLCA has not taken a position currently.

H.R. 396-"Tax Accountability Act of 2017"-legislation would fire any federal or postal employee who is delinquent on their taxes, while also making any individual with tax delinquent problems ineligible for federal employment. The NRLCA opposes this legislation.
H.R. 1022-"Federal Employees Paid Parental Leave Act of 2017"-provides 6 of the 12 weeks of parental leave made available to a Federal employee shall be paid leave. the NRLCA supports this bill.
S. 362-"Federal Employees Paid Parental Leave Act of 2017"-Senate companion bill that would provide 6 of the 12 weeks of parental leave made available to a Federal employee shall be paid leave. NRLCA supports this bill.
H.R. 3031-"TSP Modernization Act of 2017"-This bill modifies the rules relating to withdrawals from the Thrift Saving Plan (TSP) accounts of former federal employees and Members of Congress. The NRLCA supports this bill.
S. 873-"TSP Modernization Act of 2017", the Senate companion bill to H.R. 3031. The NRLCA supports this bill.
H.R. 4243-Veterans Affairs Asset and Infrastructure Review Act of 2017, legislation that would strip Congress of its power to stop VA closures by placing the decision of the VA facilities in the hands of unelected officials handpicked by the President.
H.R. 5389-"Federal Retirement Fairness Act"-this bill would allow federal employees who have spent time as temporary employees the ability "buy back" the time spent as a temporary employee and have that time count as credible service under FERS. The NRLCA supports the idea of allowing employees the ability to "buy back" time served as a temporary employee

H.R. 1364-"Official Time Reform Act of 2017"-legislation that would limit the use of official time for political activity and to exclude union employees who spend more than 80% of their day on union work from eligibility as creditable service under CSRS and FERS. The NRLCA opposes this legislation.
H.R. 1293-amends title 5 to require OPM to submit an annual report to Congress relating to the use of official time by Federal employees. The NRLCA opposes this bill.

H.R. 3280-the "Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act, 2018" The NRLCA supports the inclusion of the mandatory 6-day mail delivery language that reads "Provided further, That 6-day delivery and rural delivery of mail shall continue at not less than the 1983 level[.]"
H. Con. Res. 71-legislation that establishes the Congress budget for the United States Government for the 2018 fiscal year. Included was an provision calling for the Oversight and Government Reform Committee to cut $32 billion through reforms to federal employee benefits. The NRLCA opposes the resolution's proposal to cut $32 billion to federal employees' benefits.
