Reauthorization of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA) and all other legislation affecting lenders, servicers and guarantors in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP), and private education loans, i.e., Higher Education Opportunity Act - 2008, Emergency Economic Stabilization Act, Ensuring Continuing Access to Student Loans Act, and Appropriations for Higher Education-related programs.
The Higher Education Opportunity Act (Public Law 110-315) (HEOA) was enacted on August 14, 2008 and reauthorizes the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA), all provisions relating to student financial assistance and institutions of higher education, including technical amendments to the Act.
Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (Public Law 110-343), all provisions.
Ensuring continuing Access to Student Loan Act, all provisions.
Appropriations for Higher Education-related programs.
Issues relating to the use of Budget Reconciliation for the FY 2010 federal budget, especially as it relates to the FFELP, FDLP, and Pell Grant Programs.
